Our take

Is Ogi worth it?

Ogi builds and sells its own full fibre network, mainly in south Wales, where it reaches over 118,000 premises. Home plans run at 150, 300 and 900 Mb on 24-month terms, with an eero router and no set-up fee.

Each plan shows a fixed £3 rise on 1 April, so you know the price in year two before you sign. Leaving early means paying the months left, and unreturned routers are charged up to £229 each. Ogi has no social tariff and is not in Ofcom’s automatic compensation scheme. In 2026 it was linked to consolidation talks with Fibrus.

Good fit if

you live in an Ogi build area in south Wales and want full fibre with a stated yearly rise.

Look elsewhere if

you need a social tariff or live outside Ogi’s network.

FAQ

Ogi broadband: common questions

Can I get Ogi broadband at my address?

Ogi covers over 118,000 premises, mainly in south Wales on own full fibre network. Enter your postcode in the comparison above to see the Ogi deals that reach you.

What happens when my Ogi contract ends?

Ogi must tell you 10 to 40 days before your minimum term ends, show its best deals for you, and remind you once a year after that. Out of contract, prices are usually higher, so it pays to switch or agree a new deal.

Can I switch to or from Ogi with One Touch Switch?

Yes. Since 12 September 2024 you only contact the provider you are moving to, even between networks. Ogi or your old provider must tell you about any exit fees, and the gap in service should be no more than one working day.

Does Ogi pay compensation when broadband goes down?

Not automatically. Ogi is not part of Ofcom’s automatic compensation scheme, so you need to ask. If a complaint is not resolved in six weeks, you can take it to an ombudsman for free.

Does Ogi guarantee its speeds?

Ogi does not publish a speed guarantee.
